The Russian company "NITA-PHARM" released for veterinary use the drug "Ivermek", the correct dosage of which for sheep will protect them prophylactically or successfully cure even with severe forms of insect and roundworm infestation.

The vials with the medicinal mixture are sealed with rubber stoppers fixed with aluminum caps.

In what cases is used

Ivermectin is used in veterinary medicine when cattle are infected with nematodes (worms) or arthropod insects. It destroys pests in the larval or sexually mature stage of development. Sheep are treated against helminths by injections of the drug in the fall, after the cessation of grazing on fresh grass and in the spring, when the first vegetation appears. The eggs of the parasites do not die in frost or heat. They remain in pastures for many years outside the body of the animal. Immediately after the termination of summer of gadflies, ivermectin is used against their larvae. According to the symptoms, they look whether it is necessary to treat ticks. The harmful effect of the drug against parasites lasts 10-14 days.
