How to give feed to chickens correctly

Correct feeding of young poultry depends on its age:

  1. Newborn chickens are fed 8 times a day, at the rate of 15-20 grams of feed per chick.
  2. Starting from 3-4 weeks of age, the daily rate of compound feed for the chicken is increased to 100 grams.
  3. 5-6-week-old chickens are given compound feed at the rate of 120-140 grams per head.
