Veterinary medicine analogs

To date, the line of anthelmintic preparations for rabbits is presented in a wide range. If after taking Albena the pet has side symptoms, the medicine can be replaced with drugs:

  1. Levamisole. For the therapy of rabbits, a 10% injection solution is used. Animals tolerate therapy with this drug well, but the agent should not be prescribed for the treatment of specimens weakened by other diseases, feline individuals, a young tribe under 4 weeks of age.
  2. "Dirofen-paste". The medicine contains pumpkin seed oil, which has an anthelmintic effect. In addition, the agent increases the pet's immunity and accelerates the recovery of mucous membranes affected by helminths. Dirofen relieves rabbits of round and tape parasites at any stage of development.
  3. Suspension "Shustrik". For prophylaxis, the agent is used once every 3 months, for treatment it is used once. The drug is administered to each animal individually or mixed into food or drink. The pet must consume food and water within 24 hours. "Shustrik" effectively eliminates various types of parasitic worms.
  4. Albendazole. A fairly strong drug used when parasites have infected the internal organs of a rabbit. The tool helps to get rid of not only worms, but also from their larvae. Most animals tolerate this agent well. The use is contraindicated in malnourished animals and pregnant females. To support the weakened body of the pet, together with "Albendazole" they give a means to strengthen the immune system - "Gamavit".

Rabbits, along with other pets, are susceptible to helminthiasis. If measures are not taken in a timely manner, the parasites will multiply, which will lead to the death of the animals. Another threat is that the worms will not appear for a long time, and it seems that the pet is completely healthy. It is important to recognize the disease at the initial stage in order to start treatment on time.
