Composition, form of release and purpose of the fungicide Flint Star
The drug, developed by Bayer, is produced in the form of a suspension, packaged in plastic packages. One bottle contains 1 liter of concentrated product. A new generation fungicide is sprayed

Flint Star treatment prevents fungal infection of plants, helps to cure crops from rust and gray mold, powdery mildew and scab.
Mechanism of action
One of the two active components of the fungicide trifloxystrobin, when sprayed, enters the leaf blade of the plant, binds to the wax layer, going inside the tissue, and negatively affects the mitochondria in the cells of the fungi responsible for the production of ATP. Pathogenic microorganisms stop growing and die.
Pyrimethanil disrupts the synthesis of the amino acid contained in the enzymes necessary for the vital activity of fungi, protects the plant from the pathogen, and enhances the effect of trifloxystrobin. The effect of using the agent is observed 2 hours after the treatment of the culture.
Advantages of the drug
Flint has several advantages over many other fungicides. Fungi do not get used to the composition, and the product does not lose its effectiveness after repeated use. The advantages of the drug include:

The fungicide destroys pathogens not only through direct contact, but also has translaminar activity - it penetrates into the inner tissues of infected leaves and stops the development of mycelium.
Preparation of working solution
Spraying of crops with a fungicide preparation is carried out no more than three times during the growing season. To process the apple tree, 5 milliliters of the suspension is mixed with a bucket of water. Flint protects trees from infection:
- powdery mildew;
- scab;
- fruit rot.
A similar amount of the drug is used to prepare a solution with which roses, grapes are treated, the suspension is combined with 10 liters of water.
Instructions for use and consumption rate
Spraying a garden, summer cottage or suburban area is carried out in dry weather in the absence of wind.
Fruit trees are cultivated three times per season. 400 ml of solution is consumed per hectare of area.
To protect roses from powdery mildew infection, to prevent the appearance of rust, the plants are sprayed when buds are formed and twice more after 2 weeks. To process a flower bed with an area of 100 meters, one bucket of the prepared composition is enough.
Flint Star helps to protect grapes from powdery mildew, eliminate infection by gray mold. Spray the vine twice over the summer.
The consumption rate per hectare is 500 milliliters.
Safety instructions for the use of fungicide
It is necessary to prepare the solution and process the cultures with gloves. To prevent chemicals from irritating the respiratory tract, you should use a mask, wear a respirator. If drops of the composition get on the skin, rinse problem areas with cool water. The remaining funds are disposed of.
The fungicide is not dangerous for bumblebees and bees, it is not toxic for pets and birds.
Compatibility with other drugs
Flint can be combined with various agents used to prevent fungal infections and treat diseases. Do not combine the fungicide with chemicals that cause a strongly alkaline and acidic reaction.
Storage conditions and periods
In a sealed package, the fungicide does not lose its properties for two years. The prepared solution must be used immediately. The product does not deteriorate at temperatures up to 30 °.
Store the drug away from sunlight, in a place out of the reach of pets and children.
Analogs
Instead of the fungicide Flint Star for the treatment of grapes, fruit and berry crops, you can use the pesticide Paracelsus, which prevents the growth of pathogenic fungi by disrupting the synthesis of cell walls.
Scala SC contains the same substance pyrimethanil as Flint, and is used for spraying fruit trees, tomatoes and vineyards against gray mold and powdery mildew.
Malachite, produced by a company from Switzerland, protects apple trees from scab, phyllostictosis, is distributed over the surface of the leaves, and does not lose its effectiveness in cold weather.
